NSM tails train shoving loads with caboose first to the basin.
Summer of 1995, but the month and day I have listed is not correct. Mile Post 7 south entrance grade crossing. NSM railroad dept boss John Holms, is standing at the other side of the crossing. This is the other tails set running this particular week, with the power at the south end of the consist. The other tails train ( 1236/1225 ) had the power at the north end.

Stephen Gose General Hi Allan. They were probrably deactivated for the time being, while the MofW dept was in the area that day. I recall seeing that at other times at that grade crossing, when the MofW dept was working there. 2/27/2009 1:35:55 PM
