NSM loaded tails train headed for the basin
Phaze IV SD9 #1225 and SD28 #1236, crossing over County Rd 4. NSM was running 2 short tails train consists this particualr week. 1 train had the 1225 and 1236 for power, while the other one had the 1226 and 1231. 1225/1236 were coupled at the north end of the side dumps, and the cab at the other end. The train with 1226/1231, was set up the opposite way. This was back in the days, when NSM was almost constantly experimenting with the tails train consist. I remember how fun it was for me to watch them and listen for them on the scanner, and then run up to the track to check things out. Date listed not correct. Although it is the sumer of 1995. Sorry for the blurry scans. Just temporary, until I can get some better scanning.
